Educational License
All requests for licensing information should be directed to the Yukon Medical Council. Please allow 30 business days for this process to be completed.

All requests for hospital privileges should be directed to yhchospitalprivileges@wgh.yk.ca, at the Yukon Hospital Corporation. Please allow 30 business days for this process to be completed.

Are you needing assistance finding accommodation?

Please contact Carly Cox, Physician/Locum Recruiter for assistance in securing accommodations.

Have you completed your elective?

If you do not already receive finanical assistance from your program, then you may be eligible to apply to the YMA Resident and Medical Student Support Fund. Please download and read through the guidelines and application (pdf).

Visiting Specialist Clinic Residents

If you attend the Visiting Specialist Clinic with a preceptor you may be eligible to apply to the Resident Support Fund for financial assistance for travel and accommodation. Please download and read through the guidelines and application (pdf).

If you are a Yukon resident presently studying medicine or intending to apply to medical school, there are several sources of funding potentially available to you. These are listed below and the contact information is provided.
